Cowboys need fourth-quarter rally to clinch NFC East

DETROIT -- Jason Witten got a chance to make up for his big mistake.

Witten caught a 16-yard, go-ahead touchdown pass with 18 seconds left, lifting the Dallas Cowboys to a 28-27 win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

RB Marion Barber recorded his first career 3-TD game. The Cowboys are 8-0 when Barber has two rushing TDs.

With the win, Dallas (12-1) clinched the NFC East and moved a step closer to earning home-field advantage in the conference playoffs.
